Trying a new food out

Paw Naturaw

We'll see how this works out. We ordered a bulk shipment of chicken and turkey off of their online store (Amazon) and we got free shipping! Mom says the bigger order would have saved her more money, but she wanted to make sure we like this food first. We've eaten commercial raw food before, but not this brand.

http://www.pawnaturaw.com/diets.html

Pros:

-Easy to use (no prep work) and serve. Making food for 4 dogs is a lot of work.
-All organic ingredients, and everything that we need is already included.
-No tax and expedited free shipping right to our door!

Cons:

-It's technically a commercial product, therefore you can't be 100% certain of what is in the food as you can be when you are the one making it. Die hard BARF feeders are wary of commercial foods for this very reason.

-Daisy and Spike would prefer a raw steak than a pre-made medallion beef cube.

We will keep you posted on this new food!

Springtime Spike

Spike posed in our backyard for a springtime photo opp. He is normally very shy and hides behind the camera, that is why there are few pictures of him.

Yummy, yummy yogurt

Here's me enjoying a lick of frozen yogurt, on a hot spring day.

Don't worry, it's organic fresh yogurt with no fat, additives, preservatives, gelatins, colorings or even sugar. I do need to watch my girlish figure.

But did it sure taste good!

No octopus, please

Mom bought us some baby octopus from the Asian market, and the only one of us who enjoyed them was Foxy. Is it a coincidence that she's a Japanese dog? And sushi originates from Japan? Although we do like most raw fish, we just didn't want to touch the octopus.

Chihuahuas on the red carpet

We hosted an Oscar party, and donned our best gowns for the event. My gown had (I stress the word "had") a nice fixture on the back, of a few cutout flowers with 3 pearls sewn in. Bambi decided she'd munch on them while we were hanging out together, so now it just looks silly.

We were rooting for Mickey Rourke to win "Best Actor" ... his chihuahua Loki had recently died of old age (did you notice Mickey wore a picture of Loki around his neck?) I wonder if Loki was potty trained, unlike some little dog we all know. Loki used to attend red carpet events as Mickey's date, how cool is that?

Foxy vs. Bambi

We had an "incident" last Sunday night, shortly after dinner. Foxy took a chunk out of my ear. I had to go to the emergency doctor, where Mom said my bill cost almost as much as I did.

Here's a picture of me with a brave face on, waiting for the doctor.

I had to be sedated and have stitches. Since quite a lot of cartilage was missing, they couldn't glue my ear back together. They told me I had to wear a collar for 2 weeks, but I could barely even walk with it on...so Mom took it off. I get my stitches out in another few days.

Proof of Harassment

It's a cold rainy morning and poor Shiloh is crying to come inside. The heartless Bambi shows her true colors by terrorizing him.Luckily he was rescued by his humans

Foxy finally gets a bath

Here's Foxy in the car after Mom picked her up from the groomer's.

Apparently the snooty shiba-inu breed doesn't have to get bathed, like EVER. We have to get baths every month.
